Important Information for Mac Users - September 21, 2011
The latest version of the Macintosh operating system, OS X 10.7 or “Lion,” is incompatible with current Learnables© CD-ROMs for Macintosh. Our Mac CD-ROMs were authored under an older operating system using technologies no longer supported on the latest machines. Because of this, we recommend that Mac users using the Lion operating system delay purchase of Learnables© CD-ROMs.
Workarounds are available: You can use an older Mac, if you have one. Or if you have a Mac with multiple hard drives or hard drive partitions, keep one of them on an older operating system such as Leopard or Snow Leopard, and boot from that to use the CD-ROMs. If you have a Windows emulator such as Parallels Desktop or VM Ware Fusion, you can use the Windows version of your Learnables© disc.
